Kid's corner

Nathan checked out ok, this morning. Thus far, the pediatrician found nothing wrong with him: he is alert, responds well to stimuli, and is generally quite happy. The only possible explanation she had right now, was that Nathan is not getting enough calories out of Veerle's milk. So we need to check how much he drinks by weighing before his meal and afterward, a few times today. We also need to give him an extra 20 to 30 ml with a spoonful of Nestle Caloreen. We need to check his weight again after this weekend. His head circumference was measured at 41 cm.

He also received his first shots. We have a pediatircian who is quite keen on vaccinations - we're not. So Nathan received only the mandatory shot (which is bundled with a heap of other stuff), and a shot against meningitis. Thus far, he shows no signs of eczema, so let's hope the shots will not change that.
