I have not been updating this blog for a while now, due to a lack of time while I'm finishing my PhD. Yet a lot has happened in the past weeks.
First of all, Nathan has started to make tiny steps when holding his hands. In the last week this has evolved to taking walks around the dining room table. He still prefers to crawl around, but standing erect is something he manages seamlessly. Especially when he should be lying down in his bed, and we're tucking Elias in, he has a knack for shifting from the horizontal to the vertical position. And he loves it! I don't recall Elias ever standing up in his bed. Another new hobby is coming to stand next to us when we're sitting at the table. Like right now ;-) So -- and this may be important if you are female -- he has got his first pair of real shoes.
Second, Nathan has four extra teeth, with a fith one trying to make its way out as I'm writing this. That makes 13, if I have not missed any.
Third, everything he sees, he says 'kij(k)' (look). Pretty awesome. Next up will be the first real word to name stuff he likes, I hope.
