Kid's corner

It has taken a while, from the removal of the side wheels to the actual willingness to try riding a bike with but two wheels (no, he is not yet moving to a unicycle) and finally to succeeding in staying upright, but today we reached a milestone.

We bought Elias a real bike. One with two wheels. Ok, and two smaller support wheels. But a real bike nonetheless. And the good thing about this bike is that he seems to be enjoying it much more than the tricycle he used before. He rides it much easier, because he sits above the pedals. The single drawback is breaking. One needs to backpedal to break, and Elias fails to catch on. I guess he'll need to bump into a few more obstacles to get the mental process going.
